A Life in Cartoons (So Far)
A tiny selection of the hundreds of cartoons I've done over the years. Hope you enjoy them.

School mag 1976, showing transition from 1st to 6th form. Oxford bags, platform shoes, kipper ties and shag / mullet haicuts were all in fashion at the time!

RAF Buchan Newsletter - I'd guess about 1980.

Another RAF Buchan Newsletter cartoon. - An "in-joke" I'm afraid. Those who were there at the time will understand!

Cartoon I did for the station barber at RAF Buchan.

Another cartoon for the station barber (hairy highland cattle were common in the surrounding fields).

Poster for an Engineering Squadron Christmas party at Buchan.

One of a series of cartoons for an article in the RAF Maintenance Magazine (1985) introducing the computerised Station Engineering Management Aid (SEMA) system. This is how this cartoon originally looked, as published it had been "mucked about", ranks changed, hats added. I was not best pleased!

General Automation Technical Newsletter 1989. The company looked after the computer systems at the big Hyatt hotel in Birmingham where the PM Maggie Thatcher stayed during the 1989 Conservative party conference. Security was tight following the Brighton bombing of 1984. "P.M." stood for "Preventative Maintenance" in the company's vernacular.
